Tax fraud and identity theft are on the rise
The IRS identified roughly two million tax returns that were potentially fraudulent last year – up 72% from the previous year. Most people already check their credit reports on a regular basis for accuracy, however it is a good idea to check your tax and social security records as well. It’s easy and its free!
